Episode 5 – All Backed Up

My house is on septic do I need sewer backup insurance?

Question: My house is on septic do I need sewer backup insurance?

Answer: Even if your house is on septic, you still need sewer backup insurance. Sewer backup insurance is a bad name because it covers so much. It covers toilets or sinks that overflow, frozen pipes and more.

Additional Info: Even if you don’t live in an area where you are connected to municipal water or sewer lines, sewer backup insurance is still important. It covers any water backup into your home from a septic bed, water lines or sump pump.
