We love giving back to the wonderful communities we are a part of! This year, at McDougall Insurance, each one of our branches will be giving back to a local charity in their community. We want to make the holidays a little more enjoyable for everyone. Below you will find the updated donations to the local charities for each of our branch locations from this holiday season.


McDougall Insurance Bancroft donated food items to their local food bank

Our Bancroft office donated over 150lbs of food to their local food bank to help families in need this holiday season!


McDougall Belleville donated to the Christmas Sharing

Our Belleville office donated $1,000 to the Christmas Sharing Program to help support underprivileged families during the holidays.


McDougall Insurance in Brockville donated to their local toy drive

This holiday season our Brockville office decided to donate toys to The Salvation Army and their annual Toy Mountain.


Our Courtice & Oshawa office donated $25,000 to help Grandview Kids. Our team also visited Campbell Children’s School to bring gingerbread houses to the students!


McDougall Insurance Napanee donated $1000 to the pediatric care centre

Our Napanee office donated $1,000 to the Pediatric Cancer Fund. This fund provides assistance to families while their children are attending treatments. The donation was made on behalf of Camden Arthur, who lost his battle with cancer in May of this year. To date Camden’s memory has raised over $12,000 for this great cause.


McDougall Insurance Oshawa donated to feed the need

Our Oshawa and Courtice offices teamed up to donate $500 to Feed the Need in Durham. The money will be used to support the less fortunate over the holiday season. Our offices are also donating non-perishable food items and hygiene products.


McDougall Peterborough donated toys to Salvation Army

Our Peterborough office donated a large haul of toys to the Salvation Army in partnership with Wawanesa.


McDougall Insurance in Trenton donated $500 to the Salvation Army

Our Trenton office donated $500 to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Sharing Program!


Our Winchester office staff sponsored two families. Gifts for under the tree, $125 grocery cards and $50 gas cards to both families.  Also collected 132 lbs of food and leftover cash donation of $153.50 went to the local food bank.
