Meet the Dougallers: Conor Hache

Stepping up next to the tee block, he hails from Prince Edward County, he’s a two time Club Champion at Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club and now he is trying his hand in insurance, put your hands together for Conor Hache! Welcome Conor to the blog and thanks for taking the time to sit down with us. Let’s get into it:

Place of Birth?

Belleville, ON (Hometown Picton).

Hobbies?

Pretending to be handy at home. Grass needs to be cut, don’t worry honey I’ll hop on the mower for an hour or two and get it done. Tire needs to be changed, give me an hour or so and I’ll have it fixed right up. I actually do enjoy cooking and travelling. However my favourite thing to do in my spare time is head to the golf course.

Favorite food and why?

Have to say pizza, I never say no to a slice regardless of toppings.

Favorite saying?

I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

Favourite movie and why?

Happy Gilmour: A timeless classic of how golf requires you to punch and sometimes, duck.

One thing we should know about you?

My dog is better than all the dogs. See for yourself!

How did you get involved in insurance?

I wanted a new challenge and was approached by a friend in the industry and here I am, giving it a go!

What do you bring to the table to help your clients?

I will always do my best to help, I have a true desire to make someone’s day better and like to get creative to achieve that.

What do you think is important in a relationship with a client?

To remember it’s always ongoing, the more you learn about a client’s specific situations and their needs, the more opportunities you will have to show them you care and the better your relationship can be.

Favourite sports team?

Tiger Woods and Fluff Cowan (Tiger’s old caddie with a legendary mustache).

Favourite Celebrity?

John Daly Sr. – honestly this might be the best answer we have ever had.

Anything else you would like to add?

The best part about dealing with me or anyone new at McDougall is that everyone in the office is so willing to hop on board and help accomplish what needs to be done! It is a constant team effort to build everyone’s knowledge and help our clients out.
