Commercial General Liability & Professional Liability
Our team will work with you and your regulatory body to find a policy that covers you and your work.
- All ICs are recommended to have the minimum Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) coverage required by their regulatory body, as well as at least $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability coverage.
- If an IC does not have a regulatory body, they will be required to have at least $1,000,000 in Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) coverage and $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability coverage.

Alma Care Insurance Requirements
Depending on your designation you may already have certain coverage in place. Alma requires different insurance coverage requirements based on your occupation.
For instance a registered nurse already carriers Professional Liability Protection through RNAO. As such, Alma only requires that they carry a $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy.
A Doulas on the other hand maybe be required to carry both a $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy and $1,000,000 in Professional Liability Coverage (E & O) unless they have enrolled in an AOD membership.
