Win Up To $5000

Vote Now

The Community Contest has concluded for 2023!

This was our 10th year of our McDougall Community Contest! We awarded three prizes worth a total of $10,000 to these local charities, non-profit organizations or community projects.

What is the McDougall Community Contest?

Great question! The McDougall Community Contest (formerly known as our Family Fund Contest) is a way for you to benefit your community. Simply make a video about your community project, local charity or non-profit organization. We will be awarding three deserving videos with their share of $10,000.

Every video submission we receive will be eligible for the contest, and you do not need to be a McDougall Insurance client to enter! In the end, the community will vote to select the winners.

How to Enter?

All you need to do to enter is:

  • Head to this link: https://binkd.co/QOlxP
  • Put together a short video about your community project
  • Tell us who you are and what your project is all about
  • And lastly what you would use the money for

That’s it!

Contest Rules:

Contest is run through a third party platform called Votigo. All submissions must be entered through this platform in order to be eligible.

Video submissions will be accepted from May 1st – 23rd. Remember the videos do not need to be professional.

Voting begins on May 24th and ends on May 31st. You can vote once per day, so remember to come back every day!

Winners will be announced on June 1st.

The winners are selected by the amount of votes their videos receive.

1st place will receive $5000. 2nd place will receive $3000. 3rd place will receive $2000 dollars.

Is Making a Video Hard?

Not at all! Making a video does not need to be hard. Pull out a smart phone, hit record and tell us about your project. If Eric The Intern can do it, anyone can! Checkout his video for his completely made up community project, “Trees for Bees.”
