Meet the Dougallers: Curtis Craig

Meet the Dougallers is back with a new employee to our Picton office! Welcome Curtis Craig! We sat down with him to find out a little bit about what got him to insurance, what he likes doing in his spare time and more! Let’s meet Curtis:

Place of Birth?

Picton, ON

What are your hobbies?

Well you don’t often get this answer as a hobby but maybe it is a good one for a new employee: working. Curtis says he enjoys work as a hobby. In addition he also enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, paddle boarding in the summer and skiing in the winter!

Favorite food and why?

Tacos or pizza because the toppings are endless. You can put whatever you want on either of them!

Favourite movie and why?

Anything scary because I hate them so much, I love them.

Ok but that’s not really an answer to the question… We need a movie!

One thing we should know about you?

Born and raised in PEC (The County) and I love it here!

How did you get involved in insurance?

Kind of fell into it, I knew a few people that worked in the industry and got chatting with them, and the rest is history.

What do you bring to the table to help your clients?

I was born and raised in the county so I have that local knowledge. I am also hard-working and honestly just love to chat.

What do you think is important in a relationship with a client?

Trust is probably the biggest thing. I need my clients to trust in my opinion and knowledge to make sure they have the best coverage for their situation. I also need to trust my clients to communicate their risk to me and make sure we are not missing any potential exposures.

Favourite sports team?

Whichever one is winning lol… Ok so not the Toronto Maple Leafs

Favourite Celebrity?

Luke Combs – a little better together… Now that is tough to beat!
